Theme and user problems - 12-12-2002, 07:04 PM

I recently installed the bbtonuke 2.0.6 mod onto a new install of phpnuke 6.0 on a linux / apache combo server and now have the following problems:

Not only can I not log out of my forums, but I am also been unable to log out of my phpnuke since I installed the phpbbtonuke mod. The second part of this problem is that I can't change the theme of phpnuke. I can change it for the phpbb itself just fine (from the phpnuke control panel) but when I do the nuke doesn't follow even if the themes should theoretically match. I've checked the file permissions and directory names and they look ok.

Are you running this on a Local machine?
php.ini needs to be configured corretly, I know that, but no more than that on local hosting and trying to run php-nuke.

IF not, then try clearing all your Cookies from your browser. Delete all your temporary internet files.
Make sure you uploaded ALL the files that came with the port, overwriting your originals.
including but not limited to
modules.php
all the modules in the html/modules folder.
etc.

Php has a problem with Apache v2 and up. What version of Apache do you have? I'm not saying that is the problem, but could be.

Thanks for the fast reply!

I figured out what it was though and now feel stupid for ringing the bells so to speak... ops: Those double slashes in the Address window should've told me something...

All it was was a misconfiguration in the admin panel under preferences.
