Topic review error when replying to post
It would seem I've found a little glitch.

If you have a section of the forums that is completely restricted to registered users, (including viewing) or one that is a private like for moderators only, the topic review doesn't work.

It either says this is for registered users only, or that users must be granted special access to read topics on this forum.

Any idea on how to fix it?

Ok you mean the Topic Review block you see when you are posting a reply? At the bottom that shows all the other posts for that topic that you are replying to?
If so, then it seems to work fine on this site with this theme? Maybe a theme issue? That subSystem again?

LOL yep it sure is.

I know you guys had a hard time with this one.

I tried to modify the topic_review.php to include a user level but that didn't fix it. On the upside nothing disappeared

I think I'll change it until I can work the glitch out.

There are a couple things missing from forum admin cp, and a few other places too.

Your best bet with that subSystem booger is to replace tpl files that are giving you fits with ones from the original subSilver or other WORKING ported template...just rename the template name references in the files you are replacing.

Mikem

I am extremely confused now. I have replaced ALL the tpl files with the ones from subsilver, and I removed the extra tpl files and I still get the same error. :?

I left the images, theme_info.cfg, the .css, IEform, html and the two js files everything else is subsilver.

How is this possible?

The only thing I can think of is that the permissions aren't writing to the db, but that doesn't make sense either because I shouldn't be able to see the forum then.

When I'm not logged in I can't see it, as soon as I log in it's there.

I tested that theme just now AS-IS on my testsite using all different permissions and what nots. I can' tget it to duplicate your problem. I'll keep trying .
