User can only login/register if Admin account is active
As of two days ago, I can login or register as a new User ONLY if my Admin uname is actively logged in. If my admin name is logged out, I will get the "Access Denied .. you are trying to access a restricted area" screen, every time I try to login as a user or register as a new user. I cannot figure this out.
I've changed all pemissions on all files to Read/Write, in case that was the issue. This is a new problem, it was working fine and something happened, but I don't know what. I'm using Nuke6.0 with PHPBB2.0.6 The site is still being developed on my local machine, so i have no URL to post.
Any ideas on a direction as to what file to look at (or replace)?
Thanks for your time,
dennis

Running on your local machine. You more than likely have Apache, PHP and other stuff installed in order to run Nuke correct?
Make sure your php.ini settings are CORRECT. I don't know much about the settings, sorry.
Also, clear ALL your cookies and temp interent files in your Browser(close all browsers). Also you may want to try accessing and doing the new user thing through another browser.
Just some suggestions, not necessarily soulutions.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, Nuke operates just fine and everything is installed on my local machine.
I was just able to get it to operate normally. I am also using PHPBB-Main Menu I had the Your_Account module active, but set to be viewed by only administrators. I reset it to All Visitors, and everything works fine. I don't understand why it works now, but it does. Thanks!

That makes total sense. IF you make Your Account module active to ONLY Admins, then No way will anyone be able to signup or loggin. They will get the Access denied screen.
Why anyone would make the Your Account module Admin access only is beyond me... :?

Why would someone..? Because when you reset that to Admin Only, the form box asks "Who can View This?" and in the large Modules/Add-Ons the table column header says "Visible To.." Naturally I figured this meant the changes were only in regard to the module's visability, not changes it's full functionality. As I've only been with Nuke about 3 weeks, captions such as "Who Can Use This?" and "Active For.." would have been much more self-explanatory to understand this wonderful program with no user's manual. Again, thanks so much for your help!

I'm sorry I didn't mean anything by my remark.
Great to see you moving right along in your Nuke adventure. It does take some time to learn all the ins and outs of it. 3 weeks is by no means make anyone an expert...glad we could help you a little.
