User/Online Information
Okay... I'm trying to install phpbb using the port, and everything seems to go fine... I read the directions over and over, did everything I should have done, but after everything is done, I try to look at the forums, and I get:
General Error
Could not obtain user/online information

This is all off a fresh vanilla install. Clean phpnuke install, then I add on the phpbb port.

What am I doing wrong?

Soudns like you are missing a couple of the files that came with the PHPBB port. Make sure when you extracted it that everythign is there. You shoudl have

html folder
inside it should be
admin
includes
blocks
language
modules
themes
upgrade and one file called modules.php

make sure you used all the fiels in the port and overwrite your existing ones.

If that is not the problem, then it may be that the Database did not get created correctly and would warrant a reinstall of the port. Another thing is make sure you CHMOD your Forums fodler 777 so that during the install process the config.php file is written to that directory.

So you've been trying to run this on your local host? IF so, I have heard nothig bu the same exact problems from others that are trying to run Nuke and phpBB on their local box. Some people get it working, others don't. Seems to be somethign to do with the Apache or PHP.ini settings on the localhost.
