Hi guys!

I disabled my Web Mail module, and don't know what to do. I can send mail but i can't recieve any mails on any pop3 account. Does anybody know what is the problem?

I have the same problem, I have read It has to do with the server where I setup my php-nuke (lycos), but don't know for sure....

If someone could help us please reply,....

A url to a free server where we can recieve email is also a good advice.. :wink:

Shoot. As far as I can tell the Webmail in Nuke 6.0 is crap. I don't know of anyone using it flawlessly. I have set it up on 3 different sites and have NEVER been able to get it to work as it should.

Well, I know this is a pretty old topic... But really, is it bad? I have not uploaded my site for the public yet, so I have not got it tested... But what's not working with it? Thought that it was a great addon, but maybe it isn't and I should inactivate it?

I'm using it and check 3 seperate pop mail accounts with it and besides the fact that I can't get attachments with it, it seems to work well for me. At least lets me see the jist of the email and if I want to get the attachment or see it in more detail, I just open the mail in my standard client.

I saw a hack to make attachments work in nuke somewhere. Can't find it again yet. But I know it's out there.

But, is the module good or not?

Anyway, I can't even find the place where I disable webmail... is there not any place where I can do that?

My webmail works fine. I also have a mail server running, on my server, so that might make a difference. If their site is uploaded to somewhere like Lycos, it could have probleme I am unaware of.
Disable web mail in admin modules.

If all else fails you can try ePOP1_11.

I can't get WEBMAIL module to work at all on my business site... But i need something just like, a program where i can check my pop3 account email from phpnuke 6.. Any suggestions MIKEM???????

I have activated the webmail module here at nukemods.(admin only) to test it out.

It seems to work here. However on my other Webhost it does not work at all because I get an error right in the main screen of Webmail and can't do anything.
Some kind of ERROR cucipop unknown uname or password.
Whatever that means. I used the same pop account settings here and it seems to send and receive email just fine.
I'll go ahead and activate it under Your Account for a few days so you guys can play with it a little. I would rather not leave it active though :?

anywho, that's as far as I have gotten. Webmail works fine here.
