If you log in as the user that has access to nuke admin, are you not able to login to forum admin?

Instaling AGAIN . I am installing on my machine at home and I have a DSL connection with a static ip so doing this over and over isnt an issue.

I am running W2K box with apserv 1.9.0 which runs apache MySQL and Nuke 6.0.

I am trying to add the port in. I will give it another try then I will ask for more help. I am almost to the point of giving up though and returning to ASP, IIS 5.0 and SQL 2000. I know how to work these things.

Poblem is I am very ignorant when it comes to php apache MySQL and Nuke. I have no problems admiting this.

For your regular user account, check in your MySQL database under nuke_users table. Browse for your uername and check your user_level. It needs to be 2 in order to Administer the Forums.

Maybe I should just wait for nuke 6.5, its pretty discouraging. I got this far not knowing crap about apache MySQL PHP or Nuke.

I can edit tables and look in tables and change stuff. Not sure what else to do.

Your God account doesn't access the forum admin cp. The regular user that you create when you install Nuke does.

If you are logged in as Nuke admin, you can't access the forum admin cp unless you are also logged in as regular user.

Well, I do know more people have trouble with this issue and the famous Nuke Admin loop when running their php-nuke on their local machine with Apache, PHP and MySQL installed locally.

Something to do with some setting.
Check your php.ini
Make sure globals are set to on.

This problem is far less prevolent with users running their PHP-Nuke on a remote Webhost.
