When my users click on a name in the Users Info block it pulls up the persons profile fine. However when they click on the PM button to send a private message it just sends them straight to the messaging area INSTEAD of going to the Private Message creation area.

For example , I click on a name and it pulls up the profile. When I click on PM its supposed to go right to the area where you type up the message and even has the persons uname prefilled in the user field.

Any ideas?

Which/who's version of the users menu do you use, and what other modifications have you made to your_account module, or any other related hacks? I had simular problems which I eventually fixed, but we need to know where you're at to work on a solution.

I am using the latest version of the user_info block taken directly from the downloads section of this site.

Nuke version is 6 with phpbb 2.06 conversion. Everything is working beautifully except for the PM stuff.

I have found a few different posts on this and other message boards but none of the fixes seem to be working.

I think I remember that installing the register through the forum hack is what finally fixed the problem, because it involved changing a link in the block it's self. And a few other links in your account and some others.

But no, it is the lack of private messages (the module) for phpbb 206!

I must have missed the Private Messages module during my original upload.

Its working fine now.
